Top 5 Scottish inspired designs

With the Commonwealth Games in full swing, we’re putting our top five pieces inspired by Scotland under the spotlight. If you happen to be visiting Scotland, then why not pop over to Commercial Quay and say hello to the friendly folk at our Edinburgh showroom.

2. The stag

A Scottish icon (and the largest land mammal in Britain), celebrate this majestic beast with our metal Stag Head Coat Hook, which features a main hook for coats or bags (and additional hanging space on his antlers). This would make a great present (particularly for the person who has everything) as it is both quirky and useful.

3. Antlers

If you feel a bit uneasy showcasing real antlers in your décor, then our Antler Lamp is the next best thing. Metal ‘antlers’ entwine to create beautiful and sculptural pieces, and their abstract design makes it hard to tell at first glance what they are. Unsurprisingly, this range is one of our bestsellers north of the border, and it will make a great addition to your scheme, particularly during the winter months.

4. Lavender

Heather and lavender have a lot in common. Both are beautiful, purple and emblematic of their home territory: Heather of the Scottish moors and lavender of fields further south. If you want to capture some of that summer flowering beauty then you can enjoy a beautiful purple wildflower all year round with our Faux Lavender, which looks just as good as the real thing and comes in a sweet little pot.

5. Faux fur

For all its beauty there’s no denying that Scotland can be a little chilly. Wrap up in one of our realistic Faux Fur Throws, which are backed with fleece for extra warmth. Available in a choice of ‘furs’ (and there are three new ones arriving this Autumn), they’re ideal for draping over an armchair, sofa or the end of a bed. Just a word of warning: they’re particularly popular with pets, so you may have to share.
